Robot successfully performs keyhole surgery on pigs, without human help

For the first time, a robot has performed keyhole surgery on a pig’s soft tissue without any human help, writes The Guardian. The robotic surgeon has achieved “significantly better” results than human colleagues who performed the same procedure, US researchers say.
