Paul Stoffels will become the new CEO of Galapagos NV from 1 April. The Belgian-Dutch biotech company announced this in a press release on Wednesday. Stoffels was previously scientific director at Johnson & Johnson, but was one of the founders of Galapagos. He succeeds Onno van de Stolpe, who was at the helm of the company for 23 years.
