Robert makes most of the songs that you hear from behind the ice cream cart. “My songs are only about ice,” he says.
Robert has been singing on the ice cream cart since his first working day. His singing does not fall from the sky. “I used to be in a serenade band,” he explains. “I’m looking for nice melodies and I make my own twist.”
Don’t sing all the time
Yet singing can not be done all day, he emphasizes. “I don’t sing all the time, isn’t it. Then it would not be fun anymore.”
Passers -by is happy to come by for a nice ice cream, but also for the music. “I think Roberto is great,” says a customer with an ice cream in her hand. “He sings, there is atmosphere and the ice is also delicious.” Robert also has international fans: “This is a very cute guy,” says a group of German girls licking their ice cream.
Finally, Robert has a tip for everyone: “Go sing, even if you can’t do it. It’s just delicious!”
