Robbed boy (17) Hoofddorp stabbed in the head, police release image of suspect

The 17-year-old boy who was robbed near the Spaarne Gasthuis bus stop in the night of February 21 to 22, was stabbed in the head, among other things, it now appears. The police have not yet tracked down the suspect and are therefore sharing more information.

The victim got off at the bus stop around 1:45 a.m. and walked towards Eiland. On the way he was approached by the perpetrator, who demanded his belongings. The boy did not respond and fled. The perpetrator went after him and took his bag, stabbing the victim in the head and hand.

The knife stab to his head ‘pierced his cheek’, the police report today in a search notice that also includes images of the suspect be released. Those (vague) images were made in the same bus that the victim was in. It is now known that he boarded at the station.

It concerns a man of 18 or 19 years old, who is about 1.85 meters tall. He has a slight build, is light-skinned and has thin, dark eyebrows. On the night in question, he wore a black North Face brand summer jacket with an unknown print on the back and – also during the robbery – had several hoods on his head.

The 17-year-old injured boy was treated at the nearby hospital after the robbery. As far as we know he is doing well. Anyone who knows or recognizes the suspect is asked to share this information with the police. Information about the inscription/logo on the back is also welcome, according to the police.
