Rob Jetten proud of agreement with CDA: ‘We did not sit at the table to screw each other’

Rob Jetten (D66) and Henri Bontenbal (CDA) are at Pauw & de Wit to discuss the joint interim agreement that has been reached. According to Jetten, both parties have made major decisions. He is especially proud that both parties really wanted to find each other and did not want to push their own positions. The formation document states that they want to maintain the spreading law, gradually phase out the mortgage interest deduction and introduce stricter asylum measures. It is now up to other parties to join the plan so that it can lead to a cabinet.
