Rob Goossens is shocked. After a parking action in Hilversum’s City Parking garage, the RTL Boulevard star stumbled over a bloody tampon. “Literal.”
Hilversum is the media city of the Netherlands and it is therefore teeming with well-known Dutch people and related media figures. With such prominent visitors you would expect everything to be in tip-top shape: swept sidewalks, raked lawns and emptied trash cans. But nothing is less true…
Wuhilversum
According to some visitors, one of the most important parking garages in the media city, City Parking, is downright filthy. It’s raining Google Maps negative reviews about this junk parking, which is located right in the center. The celebrities don’t park here for a studio visit, but for a drink or a business lunch.
However, that garage is not celebrity-proof at all, according to a review by 3FM producer Thijn van Summeren. “What a garage. Many people think that COVID-19 originated in a market in Wuhan. That is not true, it was in the payment hall of this parking garage,” he says.
Downright filthy
According to Thijn, it is really extremely unhygienic. “Rumor has it that if you shout the word ‘cleaner’ out loud three times near this garage, you can find the caretaker shivering in the crawl space. All in all a paradise for lovers of the smell of urine. It is absolutely filthy.”
And that’s not all: “The elevators are terrifying, regularly (even at the time of writing) broken down and so dated that even Frits Sissing would say: ‘Wow, what an old mess.’”
Bloody tampon
Precisely because of those faulty elevators, Rob Goossens was forced to take the stairs last week and he was really shocked. “Is this City Parking? Where I literally had to step over a bloody tampon in the stairwell last week,” he tweeted in bewilderment.
Thin: “Hey! I’ve seen that one too!! That yes!”
Rob: “Then this is the best Google Maps review ever!”
Bad hygiene
If that bloody tampon has been spotted by several people, it indicates that cleaning is indeed very poor in this garage. That thing would not escape any broom.
Why is there even a bloody tampon in a stairwell? And what to do with it? A follower of Rob makes a particularly nasty suggestion: “You can take that with you to suck on during a long drive.”
Bah. Can Rob start taming his followers for once?
