Rob Geus finds it laughable that Robert ten Brink is making such a fuss about his successor at All You Need Is Love. The SBS 6 judge does not think he is indispensable at all. “Certainly not.”
Some presenters have more difficulty saying goodbye than others. Caroline Tensen, for example, does not want to think that she will ever be kicked out of One against 100 – even when she looked battered after a scooter accident, she was still in the studio – and Robert ten Brink does not want to make way for the new generation either.
Robert warns
Robert does not think that All You Need can continue on television after a year. “This is not a format where you suddenly put someone else on when I’m gone. Then you’ll have to wait a few years, I think,” the presenter warns.
A colleague who has no difficulty at all with her succession is Martine van Os; he left We Are There Almost relieved and would like a younger successor. What does Robert want? “I have no idea, leave that to Martine! I’m not really interested in it. Why would I like that? I just want to keep doing it myself, of course, haha!”

Rob Geus thinks this is a very strange attitude. According to him, Robert is not at all indispensable at All You Need. “No. Certainly not. The format is strong enough to be presented by someone else. I personally think Winston Gerschtanowitz is very suitable for this,” he says in the prominent panel of Story.
There he finds Henk Krol at his side. “No. Everyone is replaceable. But the program is so intertwined with him, I understand why he says that. The only question is: who should replace him? But the program is so much fun that it must continue.”
