On a cycle path on the Provincialeweg in Someren, a concrete road surface came up a few centimeters on Tuesday afternoon due to the heat. A cyclist cycled against the road surface and was launched.
The cyclist ended up on the asphalt a few meters away and was seriously injured. The man was rushed to a hospital. A trauma helicopter was called up, but in the end it was no longer landed.
