RMI warns of slippery roads

In the coming hours, the RMI predicts winter precipitation with the greatest chance in the east of the country.

The RMI expects 1 to 5 cm of snow in Limburg, Antwerp and Flemish Brabant. It cannot be ruled out that a flake will also fall in East Flanders. In places where there is winter precipitation, you should certainly pay attention, but because road surface temperatures throughout Flanders can drop below zero, you have to watch out for local slippery conditions everywhere.

The gritting services are closely monitoring the condition of the roads and cycle paths this evening and overnight. Where necessary, the gritters are deployed. This winter, 7,540 tons of salt were spread.
