The NS will continue to operate with an adjusted timetable tomorrow and will use fewer trains due to the winter weather.
“Some travelers have to transfer more often and travel longer. Trains can also be busier than travelers are used to,” the NS reports.
Tonight there is a chance of sleet and frost on the overhead lines. This may cause disruption to train traffic during the morning rush hour, the organization warns. It is expected that the regular timetable will resume ‘as much as possible’ from Tuesday.
‘Ordinary view’ at Schiphol
After hundreds of flights were canceled at Schiphol this week due to the winter weather and the de-icing of the planes, last night was relatively ‘normal’.
“The camp beds have not been used and no breakfasts have been distributed. There is a normal image at the airport,” said a spokesperson. The beds have now been removed.
