Rihanna’s Super Bowl appearance is set to be made into a documentary

On February 12, 2023, Rihanna will appear on the Super Bowl halftime show. Her appearance and rehearsals are to be recorded for an AppleTV documentary. So it reported “the sun on Tuesday (Nov. 22), citing a “music insider” as the source. After Rihanna’s Superbowl announcement, “Lift Me Up” was the first new solo song since the release of ANTI (2016).

“She is taped at rehearsals and meetings leading up to the big night and gives a glimpse into her life after returning to the pop world as a mother. Rihanna is a massive force to be reckoned with when it comes to music and that’s why Apple has paid millions,” the so-called insider said. Neither Rihanna nor Apple have confirmed this yet. However, the singer previously explained that her February performance had nothing to do with new music: “Superbowl is one thing. New music is another thing.”

Rihanna gave birth to a son with rapper A$AP Rocky in May 2022 and has focused on her company Fenty during her musical hiatus. She introduced a new collection of clothes in 2021 with the “Savage x Fenty Show Vol.3” and won an Emmy in the category “Outstanding Choreography For Variety Or Reality Programming” with the show. On November 09, 2022, the fourth edition of the show was also made available to stream on Amazon Prime, along with three previous ones. With the “Savage x Fenty Show Vol.4” she made headlines, among other things, because Johnny Depp had a brief appearance as a model.
