Rick Brandsteder lied over his Dronkemans ride in court, says a witness in Weekblad Story. “He missed a hair after a blue car. That man eventually called the police.”
Rick Brandsteder’s alcohol addiction got out of hand in March. He ended up at Breukelen with his car on the roadside and had an alcohol promillage of 1.83 in his blood, good for fourteen glass beer. He claims that he only started drinking considerably after the accident, a statement that Papa Ron once successfully applied in the courtroom.
Liar
The Story Now speaks with an eyewitness, Mr. E. His name is known to the editors of the magazine, but he does not want to go outside by name and by name. “I understood that Rick told in court that he only got drunk after he got out of the car. That is a lie,” he says.
Why would Rick lie in the courtroom? “His lawyer probably told him he had to say that.”
Blue car
What happened according to eyewitness E.? “Rick drove his car swinging on the dike. A little later he was strangely parked, then drove enthusiastically and came to a stop again. Then he drove away again and missed a hair after a blue car. That man eventually called the police.”
It didn’t stop there. “It didn’t matter much or Rick had hit a tree. Around the corner of the tree you have parking spaces with a small hill behind it, and on top of that Rick came to a halt with his car. His car balanced with the front and rear wheels loose from the ground.”
Declaration
E. then intervened. “I went to Rick then and said,” Rick, leave your car. I bring you home. ” But that was not necessary.
Why did this eyewitness not told the police? “I called the police in the evening if I wanted to make a statement, but I did not do that – because I know Rick well.”
