Eintracht Braunschweig wants more danger: the Lower Saxony strikes again on the transfer market on the Deadline Day. There is a striker.

Shortly before the end of the transfer period, Eintracht Braunschweig again struck the transfer market. At the Deadline Day, the second division team made the loan of attacker Richmond Tachie from 1st FC Kaiserslautern perfect. The striker signed a contract until the end of the season. According to its own statements, Eintracht does not have a purchase option.

The 24-year-old is said to enliven the competition in the Lower Saxony attack. “Richmond is a variable striker who will enliven our offensive game and increase the risk of scoring,” said sports director Benjamin Kessel in a club notification.

Kessel is completely convinced of the qualities of the new BTSV-Anfreger. “In addition to his pace and his dynamics, he is hard-working against the ball, has Zug to the goal and a good end,” said the Eintracht boss. “In addition, Richmond knows the 2nd Bundesliga, is fit and immediately operational.”

Tachie only switched from SC Paderborn to Kaiserslautern last summer, but was only used sporadically there in the current second division season. Now he should get more playing time in Braunschweig and help the team in the relegation battle. Overall, he looks at the experience of 54 second division deportia, in which he get four goals and seven templates.

With the transfer, Eintracht reacts to significant problems on the offensive. The Lower Saxony currently occupies a relegation zone and, with only 17 goals, set the league’s second weakest.

Tachie is aware of the tricky task on the Oker. “I’m happy to be here and I know what challenge we are waiting for,” says the 24-year-old. “I would like to collect game practice at Eintracht, help the team and make my contribution as much as possible so that we can celebrate the relegation at the end of the season.”

Whether tachie will be the hoped -for reinforcement will already be shown in the coming games. The BTSV will compete at Karlsruher SC on Sunday (1.30 p.m.). Then the striker could already be an option.
