Riccardo Scamarcio opens a restaurant in Andria

Riccardo Scamarcio and her siblings, Nico and Ella, decided to open a restaurant in Andria, right where their grandmother once lived. The local, Club64offers quality cuisine based on the tradition of local products.

Riccardo Scamarcio launches into catering

As is well known, the famous actor lived in Andria until he was sixteen. Immediately afterwards, he moved to Rome, where he attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinema.

After some roles in TV series and films (first of all The best youth by Marco Tullio Giordana), have arrived the first films as a protagonist. Try flying by Lorenzo Cicconi Massi but above all Three meters above the skyreleased in 2004, thanks to which it became a real sex symbol.

«We respected our father’s wishes»

In order not to forget one’s Apulian origins, Scamarcio has now decided to open this place together with his brothers. A way to pay homage to its roots.

Interviewed by Cibotodaythe actor’s sister, Ella Scamarcio, has explained. «We respected our father’s wishes, who did not want to sell this house to which we are all very attached. We wrote a new story about her.” The restaurant with B&B is located in via Bologna 83, in the center of Andria, right where their grandmother lived.

Riccardo Scamarcio: restaurant with an intimate atmosphere

According to what was communicated, the local – which also includes four bedrooms – it recalls the intimate and refined atmosphere of the speakeasies of the 1930s. The menu, however, respects the Apulian tradition. There are raw seafood, lobster, rice and potato tiella, homemade orecchiette.

He is a consultant for this project Franco Ricatti, the only Michelin star in Bari and – thanks to its Bacco restaurant in Barletta – also the only one in the entire region to have two Michielin stars. In addition to the patron of the restaurant, they are present Fabio Roberto for the welcome in the room and the chef Giuseppe Scarcelli in the kitchen.
