Review: Willow ::

In , her fifth album, she confidently exhibits what was already outlined on the predecessor LATELY I FEEL EVERYTHING from 2021: she is now exclusively interested in rock, there is no trace left of her beginnings in electro-pop. The hard-working 21-year-old is undoubtedly a great singer, vocally she explores her possibilities, sometimes with and sometimes without technical finesse.

Lyrically, she moves between self-discovery poetry and feminist themes, and Willow, who co-hosts a controversial and interesting talk show with her mother and grandmother, has a lot of intelligent things to say. Nevertheless, bored after a short time, because what is quoted musically comes across as too humorless. Unfortunately, when attempting to mix alternative and hard rock, the album ends up more in the hands of Avril Lavigne, which was certainly not intended and is a shame.
