MTV recently announced First date on the altar of changes in the program.

One of the reforms is that in the upcoming season, couples will not get legally married in the past. However, according to the announcement, couples are equally truly committed to each other in the wedding ceremony.

Iltalehti reached the program responsible producer Ellinoora Uusi-Manor the subject. He justifies why legal marriage has been abandoned in the program.

– In most countries presenting the program, legal marriage has already been omitted and thus brought the format to match the spirit of the time. The same solution was natural to make here, too, there were no other specific reasons for the change, he says.

Uusi-Kartano assures the fans of the program that the reform will not in practice affect the content of the program, as the way or purpose is not otherwise changed.

“The in -depth and multi -stage selection process in the program ensures a commitment to finding love in the same way,” he says.

The program also features a new trio of experts. New experts are a sexologist, a newly graduated sex therapist and a rewarded social media influencer Joonas Pesonen as well as a psychologist specializing in relationships and emotional skills Iida Mäkikallio. As a third expert, a familiar couple therapist from previous seasons will continue Hanna Myllymaa.

The program’s experts will no longer continue the pastor Kari Kanala and a psychotherapist Tapani Alanen. Kanala told Iltalehti in February that he had long thought about leaving the program.

– Every fall, I have been wondering if I have anything to give this program, but most obviously, the pastor said.
