Residents of a Scottish town evacuated for fear of “life-threatening” storm Babet, body of woman (57) removed from river

Residents of the town of Brechin on the east coast of Scotland have had to leave their homes for fear of “life-threatening” storm Babet. The residents of more than 350 homes were evacuated. Thirty kilometers away, the body of a 57-year-old woman was recovered from a river. Denmark, Sweden and Germany are also bracing themselves for severe weather and severe flooding.
