Cancers that could possibly be associated with exposure to PFAS are no more common in a radius of 3 and 5 kilometers around 3M than in the rest of Flanders. This is apparent from a study by the Cancer Registry at the request of the Agency for Care and Health. The results are comparable to those of a 2021 study in Zwijndrecht.
