The proceeds from “Rescue at sea is not a crime” go to the organization “Sea Punks”, which rescues refugees from the Mediterranean Sea. The compilation features songs by Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte and Danger Dan, among others. The collection will be released on September 23rd.
“Rescue at sea is not a crime” will be released as a limited double LP+7″, double LP and double CD. The idea of benefit plays an important role here. “Sea punks” want a society in which refugees “are welcomed and supported”. “A society in which these people are perceived as part of the community and not as a problem” is the goal. The compilation will be released in autumn, may here already be pre-ordered.
