According to media reports, Francisco Trincão (22) is about to move to Sporting Lisbon after his loan return from Wolverhampton Wanderers to FC Barcelona. The attacker is said to have already arrived in Portugal’s capital, where he is due to sign his contract on Monday. Meanwhile, reports differ as to whether Trincão is a permanent signing or a loan return.
According to the Portuguese newspaper “A bolaSporting will sign the offensive player on a permanent basis. There is a fee of 10 million euros in the room, with which the capital city secure 50 percent of the transfer rights to Trincão. In return, Barça are said to hold a buyback option for the Portuguese international, who is under contract with the Catalans until 2025. In 2020, the attacking force joined the Catalans for €31m from SC Braga, for whom he made 42 appearances (three goals/two assists) before being loaned out to England. His market value on the island recently fell from 22 to 20 million euros.

Accordingly, a rental fee of 3 million euros will be due, while the transfer fee should amount to 7 million euros for 50 percent of the transfer rights. Barça are said to reserve the right to buy Trincão back for €15m after the first season, €18m after the second season or €20m after the third season. Other numbers are called the “mark“, which reports on a purchase option in the amount of 14 million euros and 50 percent of the transfer rights.
