Remember the legendary Henry’s Pub at the bus station? Now Henry’s Music Bar opened

Pippuri.fi was one of the first to take a peek at the Culture Barracks.

The more than two-year construction contract in Helsinki’s Lasipalatsi quarter has been completed. The culture barracks opened to the public on Friday, and it offers a new focus in a central location, where you can enjoy both restaurant and movie offerings.

– The two-year construction project was preceded by years of planning work, and the project has had many phases. Now the former bus station and barracks building is starting to serve its new purpose. The core of Helsinki now has a unique meeting place for lovers of movies, food, drink, concerts and other events, sums up the project’s initiator and chairman of the board of Kulttuurikasarmi Oy Ari Tolppanen in the bulletin.

The culture barracks is located on the edge of Narinkkator, where there is now also a pavilion and a sun terrace on the roof of the pavilion.

The memory of the legendary Henry’s pub, which was located at the old bus station, is now continued by Henry’s Music Bar, where live music will be played every week, according to NoHo Partners, which runs the restaurant business. In addition, there is Henry’s Distillery in the Kulttuuribarracks, whose distillery operations are run by Arctic Blue Beverages. The Distillery also serves food.

Food for Bio Rex’s films can be bought from Café Kasarm, which offers not only cafe products but also light food portions.
