Relay team 4 x 400 meters mixed grabs silver at World Championships in athletics
The first medal has been received for the Dutch athletics team at the world championships in Eugene, USA. The foursome in the mixed 4×400 meter relay captured the silver. The Dominican Republic team was slightly faster in the final, 8 hundredths to be exact. The American quartet took the bronze.
Liemarvin Bonevacia, Lieke Klaver, Tony van Diepen and Femke Bol ran in the final to a Dutch record of 3.09.90.
