Relationship therapist Alfons Vansteenwegen (82) taught the world that love is a verb: “Anyone who thinks that sex is self-evident in a relationship is wrong”

There is no parish hall in Flanders where Alfons Vansteenwegen has not come to explain at least once that love is a verb. The éminence grise of European relationship therapists has written yet another book at the age of 82, his 15th. In ‘Staying Connected’ he criticizes the current ‘glorification of the single’. “I cannot accept that Nicole and Hugo’s lasting relationship is presented as a curiosity.”
