Rehabilitating Tiger Woods is on the Masters Augusta start list | Other sports

Tiger Woods is on the Masters entry list. That is striking, because the fifteen-time major winner seems far from a return, even though he is working hard on his comeback after his serious car accident in February 2021.

It is also highly unlikely that the 46-year-old Woods will stall on April 7 in the major tournament on the Augusta courts. The tournament organization will put invitees on the start list until they unsubscribe.

Woods was seriously injured when his car ran off the road at high speed and crashed more than a year ago. He had to undergo several operations and his right leg in particular was severely mutilated.

The golfer still believes in a comeback. “You’ll see me on the PGA Tour again someday, I just don’t know when,” Woods said recently.

To date, Woods has won 82 PGA titles and spent 683 weeks at the No. 1 position.
