Reference to Bjelica’s expulsion? Union Berlin postpones PK

After the sideline scandal by his coach Nenad Bjelica, Union Berlin has postponed the obligatory press conference before the Bundesliga game against Darmstadt 98 on Sunday (3:30 p.m./DAZN) at short notice.

The club announced that the question and answer session originally scheduled for Friday at 1:00 p.m. will now take place on Saturday at the same time. It remained unclear who should speak.

Bjelica (52) was suspended for three league games by the sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) on Thursday.

He is not allowed to enter the interior of the stadium. On Wednesday, during the 0-1 loss at Bayern Munich, he grabbed national player Leroy Sane twice in the face during a scuffle. Sanctions from the club are not yet known.
