The sports brand Reebok, which is part of the US multi-brand group Authentic Brands Group, will once again offer performance clothing and shoes for the golf market. To achieve this, Authentic has entered into a partnership with Sports Casuals International (SCI), based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a global sportswear design and manufacturing company. However, SCI will only design, manufacture and distribute men’s and women’s golf apparel for Reebok. The Reebok Design Group (RDG), the brand’s global center for design, development and innovation, will be responsible for the design and distribution of the golf shoes.

Parallel to its entry into golf, Reebok recently announced the signing of professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau and his team, LIV Golf’s Crushers GC.

Todd Krinsky, CEO of Reebok: “Golf is experiencing a cultural shift and Reebok is uniquely positioned to disrupt the sport with products that deliver performance, style and accessibility to a broader audience. This launch reflects our commitment to diversify our sports portfolio and support athletes in new, exciting ways.”

The new collection reflects SCI’s “fabric-first” approach, the company said in a press statement. The aim is to combine performance-oriented technologies with design elements to improve functionality on the pitch, but also to be able to be seamlessly transformed into casual wear.

These brands have a strong presence in 150 countries with more than 13,000 standalone stores and shop-in-shops and 400,000 points of sale worldwide. In addition to Reebok, the portfolio includes Champion, Nautica, Eddie Bauer, Aéropostale, Lucky Brand, Nine West, Brooks Brothers, Juicy Couture, Vince Camuto, Quiksilver, Billabong, Sperry, Hunter and Ted Baker.
