In Ypres, the Red Cross organized an information market about the arrival of an asylum center. About a hundred visitors came to watch. From February 2024, 375 asylum seekers will be given temporary accommodation on the site of the André Lemahieu barracks, on Kemmelseweg. This mainly concerns families with children.
