Red Bull driver Max Verstappen wins at Paul Ricard, the 12th race of the season in Formula 1



Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was the winner at Paul Ricard. While leading the race, Charles Leclerc hit the barriers on lap 18 and missed a critical win.


Lewis Hamilton, who started the 300th race of his career, started the race from the 5th row and finished the race in the 2nd place. Thus, Hamilton managed to finish on the podium for the 187th time.



Another Mercedes driver, George Russell, took the final step of the podium, beating Sergio Perez in the final laps.


Carlos Sainz, who started the race from the last row due to mechanical changes and was punished in 5 seconds due to the fault of the pit crew, finished the race in 5th place as the owner of the fastest lap.


The 13th race of the season, the Hungarian Grand Prix, will be held on 31 July.
