Record number of major disruptions on the track, ProRail warns of years of disruption

Train passengers are increasingly experiencing inconvenience from large-scale disruptions on the track. ProRail is sounding the alarm: the counter now stands at more than 520 major incidents. This means that for the first time this year there have been more disruptions than permitted. There is no quick solution: ProRail does not expect to meet the requirements again until 2027.
