The planning at FC Bayern is progressing for the coming season. Now a top performer of a Bundesliga club has apparently come into the focus of Munich. A special detail is interesting.

Most recently, midfielder Amiri (6 goals, 3 assists in 23 games) and attacker Burkardt (15 goals and 3 templates in 22 games) were also rewarded by national coach Julian Nagelsmann with the nomination for the two National League games against Italy, both were even in the starting eleven in Milan.

And for Burkardt the next step could now follow. Because Sky reported on Friday evening: The striker is said to have aroused the interest of FC Bayern Munich.

Accordingly, the German record champions consider a commitment of the 24-year-old as a backup for striker Harry Kane. In addition, for Burkardt, whose contract is still running in Mainz until 2017, it would not be due unaffordable high transfer fee.

Exciting detail: Burkardt is represented by the same player advisory agency as Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, the relationship with Bayern described Sky as “excellent”.

Burkardt grew up at the FSV and came to the club in 2014 as a 13-year-old from SV Darmstadt 98. In 129 Bundesliga games so far, he scored 38 goals and 12 templates. With the German U21 national team, he became European champion in 2021.
