Record amount of 7.3 million in EPB fines: this is how you avoid a high fine on your tax return

Builders and renovators paid a record amount of 7.3 million euros in EPB fines in 2025. Anyone who does not indicate how energy efficient their new construction or renovation is risks a fine of almost 3,000 euros on average.
