The basketball star joins the big project. The city of Jyväskylä and Lauri Markkanen have signed a memorandum of understanding for the construction of a basketball hall in Jyväskylä. The hall is to be built in Vehkalamme park. Construction is supposed to start in 2028. In the current plan, the hall would be completed in 2029.
