The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov said that the possible recognition by Russia republics of Donbass will mean the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Minsk agreements.
So he commented on the initiative of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma to recognize the independence of certain regions of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Reznikov believes that this idea was put forward in order to “make nervous” Ukraine, but, in his opinion, “Russia will not succeed.”
At the same time, the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that he does not see any possible “aggressive actions” from the Russian Federation.
As reported, recently Western countries, together with the authorities of Ukraine, have launched an information campaign about the allegedly possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.
