Reckitt Benckiser shares positive: New CEO to take over the post sooner

The designated boss of the British consumer goods group Reckitt Benckiser, Kris Licht, is said to take over the office sooner than expected.

The manager should follow the previous group leader Nicandro Durante on October 1st, the company announced on Friday in London. Durante should remain with the group until the end of the year to ensure a “smooth transition”. So far, Reckitt Benckiser had promised a start at the end of 2023.

According to the company, the manager has been in charge of the health products business since July 2020. These include brands such as Dettol (Sarotan in this country), Durex and Clearasil.

It was only announced last week that Jeff Carr, CFO of Reckitt-Benckiser, will retire at the end of March 2024. He will be succeeded by Nike manager Shannon Eisenhardt in mid-October. She is currently responsible for the finances for a segment (consumer, brand & marketplace) at the US sporting goods manufacturer.

Reckitt Benckiser temporarily gained 0.46 percent on the London Stock Exchange to 57.28 pounds.
