Actress Rebel Wilson denies she is behind a cyber attack that exposed nude photos of actress Charlotte MacInnes. The 27-year-old actress has sued Wilson for defamation and bullying. According to Australian media, court documents show that Wilson, according to MacInnes, sent a nude photo to her entire address file.
The Pitch Perfectstar called the claim about the cyber attack ‘disgraceful’ during a hearing in Sydney on Thursday and strongly denies having hacked MacInnes’ account. The incident is said to have occurred in September 2025, shortly after MacInnes filed the defamation and harassment suit. “It was terrifying and I have suffered from anxiety ever since,” said MacInnes.
The defamation case revolves around the fact that, according to MacInnes, Wilson said in posts on Instagram that MacInnes had made up a story about sexual harassment against a film producer. The two actresses and the producer, Amanda Ghost, worked together in 2023 The Deb.
According to Wilson, MacInnes had come to her at the time of filming after sharing a bath with producer Ghost and feeling “uncomfortable” about it. MacInnes denies saying that to Wilson. She acknowledges taking a bath with Ghost, but they wore swimwear and did not touch each other during the session, MacInnes said.
