Real Madrid want Alphonso Davies at a bargain price

The speculation about a change from Alphonso Davies from FC Bayern to Real Madrid does not stop. The royals are said to have a comparatively cheap deal in mind.

As the “El Nacional” portal reports, the powerful real boss Florentino Pérez wants to risk a transfer attack on the 22-year-old Canadian in the summer of 2024.

According to this, the Spanish record champion has a transfer fee of 55 million euros in mind – a manageable amount, given that Davies’ market value is currently estimated at around 70 million euros.

Real wants to take advantage of the fact that Davies’ contract with FC Bayern expires in 2025, they say.

If there is no extension by next summer, those responsible at Säbener Straße would be under pressure to either sell the full-back or go into the last year of his contract with him with an open future.

Alphonso Davies’ advisor criticizes FC Bayern

The Davies side had recently flirted with a departure from Bayern. Advisor Nedal Househ criticized in June in an interview for transfer guru Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel that the German record champions had “recently gotten a bit off track with the changes in management”.

A contract extension had almost been negotiated with the now dismissed sports director Hasan Salihamidzic.

The agent “neither confirmed nor denied” Real’s alleged interest. Househ also said that “no final decision” has been made about Davies’ future. “We still have two years at Bayern and will take our time to see how things develop in the coming weeks and months,” he announced.

In addition to Davies, another former Bundesliga professional could soon be working on Real Madrid’s defensive flank: Pérez is said to have Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen on his shopping list.
