RB Leipzig travels to the training camp with three planes

RB Leipzig started the training camp on Sunday. But not in the way the Bundesliga club had originally planned.

RB Leipzig left the training camp in Austria with a delay on Sunday. As several media reported unanimously, the large machine intended for the flight was defective.

The crew and staff therefore switched to three small machines. They then landed at the Zeltweg airfield near the Red Bull Ring, where the DFB Cup winners will watch the Formula 1 race on Sunday afternoon before continuing to the training camp in Aigen im Ennstal.

Incidentally, Leipzig would have only taken six hours to reach Aigen by bus.

Coach Domenico Tedesco’s team will be training there until Saturday. The finale is a test match against FC Southampton, which is being coached by former Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhüttl.
