RB Leipzig confirmed
Konrad Laimer will be absent from RB Leipzig until the end of the World Cup in December. The 25-year-old midfielder, who twisted his ankle in the 3-0 home win over Borussia Dortmund and sustained an ankle injury, underwent surgery in Leipzig on Monday.
“In order to achieve a safe healing result, Konrad Laimer had a successful operation on the left syndesmosis ligament this morning,” said the German cup winner on Monday.
