RB Leipzig has to do without the top performers Antonio Nusa and Xaver Schlager at least in the upcoming home game against 1. FC Köln. As the Saxons announced, the 20-year-old Norwegian broke the right forearm during the 1-0 win last Saturday at FSV Mainz 05. The offensive player is to be operated on on Tuesday.
Schlager will also be missing on Saturday (6:30 p.m./Sky). The Austrian international suffered a muscle injury in the right calf in Mainz. The midfield player had already been replaced in the 32nd minute. In both players, the downtime depends on the healing process, the Leipzig ones said.
