Drone incident in Brentford
The English record champions Manchester United celebrated an important last-minute victory in the Premier League on Saturday. Ralf Rangnick’s team won 1-0 (0-0) against West Ham United through a goal by Marcus Rashford in the third minute of added time, and thus overtook their table neighbors and direct competitor for a Champions League place.
After the first half at Old Trafford went without convincing chances for either side, both Man United and the visitors from London invested a little more after the break. Nevertheless, there were only a few direct shots on goal in the second half. Only in the final phase did an entertaining game develop – with the better ending for Man United. Edinson Cavani provided the assist for Rashford’s goal after an Anthony Martial pass. Rangnick had both come on shortly before.
Fourth in the table, the Red Devils now have 38 points and one point more than West Ham United, who have played a game more. Behind them, however, are two rivals in Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal who still have a few games to play and could catch up with Man United with victories.

Match between Brentford FC and Wolverhampton suspended due to drone
A curious incident occurred in parallel in London during the game between Brentford FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Because a drone was circling over the field, the referee interrupted the game for more than 15 minutes and sent the players to the dressing room. During the break, newly promoted Brentford tweeted that fans should send jokes to while away the wait.
