Rammstein dominate various bestseller lists on Amazon

Rammstein is not only doing well in the German album charts, but also in the Amazon rankings, despite the Till Lindemann scandal. Despite (or because of?) the media turmoil, the discography of the Berlin band is extremely popular, as a glance at various bestseller lists by the online shopping giant shows.

In the overall “Rock” category, Rammstein is only beaten by Queens Of The Stone Age’s new album “In Times New Roman…”. On the other hand, a number of the group’s albums are very successful here: “Zeit” (in a special edition in a digipack) takes 2nd place, “Rammstein” (2019) 4th place, Lindemann’s “Live in Moscow” (2021) comes in 5th place, another Edition of “Zeit” takes 9th place.

But that’s not all: “Love Is For All Da” (2009) is 11th in this list, “Mother” (2001) is 12th, “Reise, Reise” (2004) is 14th, “Longing” (1997) made 15th place, “Rosenrot” (2005) was 16th, “Made In Germany (1995-2011)” in the 2CD edition was 18th, “Herzeleid” (1995) was 23rd, a 1- CD version of “Made In Germany 1995-2011” at number 26 — and there are even more albums and special editions in this category.

More bestseller lists

If you look at the “Rock’n’Roll” subcategory, Rammstein occupy places 1-3 with three singles: “Du Hast” (1997) on white 7-inch vinyl, “Adieu” (2001) on 10-inch Vinyl and “Adieu” (2001) as a CD single.

It is not surprising that the list “Rock from Germany” is also headed by Rammstein – here Rammstein (and Lindemann) occupy all places from 1 to 12 and 14-17 and also appear several times in the further course.

Because the band can probably also be assigned to the “Alternative & Indie” category, they are also represented there: 3rd place for “Mutter” (2001), 4th place for “Sehnsucht” (1997), 15th place for “Völkerball” (2006 ), #26 for “Herzeleid” (1995).

Things are also looking good in the list of the best in the “Metal & Hard Rock” category — here Lindemann & Co. took 1st place (“Zeit”), 2nd place (“Rammstein”), 4th place (“Zeit”, Digipack), and 5th place (“Mother”), 6th place (“Sehnsucht”), 8th place (“Made in Germany 1995-2011, 2CD), 11th place (“Mother” as LP), 12th place (“Zeit”, 2-LP version ), 13th place (“Reise, Reise”), 14th place (“Rammstein”), 20th place (Herzeleid), 23rd place (“Sehnsucht”, LP), 27th place (“Du Hast”, white 7-inch single ), 29th place (“Love Is For All Da”), 30th place (“Völkerball”) and 33rd place (“Rosenrot”).

Rammstein was also successfully represented in the subcategories “Alternative Metal” (2nd and 14th place for two editions of “Völkerball”, 3rd place for “Herzeleid”, 7th place for “Live Aus Berlin” and in the category “Limited Edition, in Rammstein ranked 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 14th Lindemann ranked 2nd “Made In Germany” (in different editions) also took 2nd and 3rd place in the “Best Of” category.

The Rammstein record company Universal Music had previously announced that it would suspend all collaborations with the band until the allegations of abuse were clarified.
