He is already seven -time world champion and wants even more titles. However, Ralf Schumacher does not believe that it works for Lewis Hamilton straight away with Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton starts his first season with Ferrari-but Ralf Schumacher does not believe in a fast World Cup triumph. The former Formula 1 pilot and today’s TV expert considers the British to win a title in his first Scuderia year as “very unrealistic”. Before the start of the season, Schumacher told the German Press Agency: “I don’t know why. But somehow I have the feeling that it is Charles Leclerc when someone can do it in Ferrari.”

After over a decade at Mercedes, Hamilton decided to move to the traditional racing team from Italy. He has already won seven world championship titles, six of them with the silver arrows. He shares the record with Ralf Schumacher’s brother Michael.

By getting used to Hamilton, Schumacher added: “If you come to a new team, it takes at least six to eight months before you can really use the whole environment for yourself and know each other – no matter how quickly you feel comfortable and no matter what you do. At least that was my experience.”

Therefore, according to Ralf Schumacher, Leclerc has an advantage. However, the 40-year-old Hamilton recently emphasized that he wanted to attack and said in an interview with the “Time” magazine (more about the counterattacks to his critics here): “I am hungry, determined and have neither a woman nor children. I concentrate on one thing. That is victories. This is my top priority.”
