Red Bull’s personal quake could have further consequences. The speculation at a farewell to Max Verstappen is only heated up by the separation of team boss Christian Horner. Now Ralf Schumacher has commented – with a guess.
There is actually a mega change-and what influence does the Horner-Af have? The former Formula 1 driver and today Sky expert Ralf Schumacher has now commented on the current situation at Red Bull: “Max would like to stay with Red Bull, if it works somehow, because it all started and he owes Red Bull a lot,” said the 50-year-old on the pay TV station.
“But: This valley through which Red Bull is going will probably stop for a while, two or three years,” said Schumacher, looking at the car that is currently no longer unrivaled. “Of course, it may be that you will find a great approach next year. I only lack the imagination for it.” Red Bull had “not managed to make the car mobile for the last or two years.”
Schumacher’s clear conclusion: “So I still think that Max continues – and now more than ever – thinks about leaving Red Bull.” The 27-year-old has been driving for Red Bull since 2016, celebrating 4 World Cup titles in a row between 2021 and 2024. But his future seems more open than ever.
