RAF Camora made his engagement public rather involuntarily – stalkers had passed on pictures to the media.
It is no secret that the private lives of singers, actors and other celebrities are always in the public eye. In some cases, however, an obsession with relationships or family matters went too far and sometimes caused unpleasant events between stars and fans or paparazzi. RAF Camora also recently spoke about stalking, which forced him to take an unwanted step.
Expression of love via social media
The Austrian was a guest on the podcast “Your first time – the Men’s Health podcast”, where he spoke openly with hosts Arndt Ziegler and Martin Werner about how he was forced to make public what was actually a private matter for him. The rapper is known for keeping his private life under wraps. However, when he got engaged to his partner Nadine, he handled things completely differently and made his happiness public via Instagram.
The background to the post is of a more serious nature. According to him, the announcement of the engagement was anything but voluntary. Instead, as he stated in the podcast, the 41-year-old was targeted by stalkers: “For me it has a very serious background – I’ve had problems with stalkers for many years. So a lot of problems with that.”
Stalkers turned to media
The “Palm Trees Made of Plastic” interpreter doesn’t give many details about the stalkers in question. However, they obtained pictures of his engagement and sent them to various media. As a consequence, the rapper found himself involuntarily forced to make the detail from his private life public and to maintain control over the narrative: “If we have to make something public without us wanting to – then we would rather choose the picture.”
Normally it was his policy to keep his relationship under wraps. However, when the matter arose, he saw a need for action to forestall his stalkers: “I just have to deal with it openly now, otherwise everyone will have something on their hands the whole time.”

The performer also spoke surprisingly openly about relationships and finding a partner in general as a well-known musician. He admitted that there was a lot to choose from and that he had always looked for the “better option” in the past. Now he is “very happy” with his fiancée.
