Radwimps are coming to Germany for a concert in 2023. The Japanese alternative rock band is going on a European tour this year, which will take them to the Columbiahalle in Berlin on May 30th. There they will probably also present songs from their current, eleventh studio album FOREVER DAZE, which will also be officially released in Europe and North America on April 14th. The record has been physically available in Japan since November 2021.
Radwimps were originally formed as a school band in 2001 and have been a staple of the Japanese charts since 2009. In addition to their resounding national success, they also managed to attract international attention. The formation provided the soundtracks for a number of well-known and successful anime films, including “Your Name” and “Weathering with You”. Most recently, they set the music to “Suzume”, which celebrated its international premiere at the Berlinale on February 23. After its release in Japan, it has already become one of the most commercially lucrative films of the past year there.
In addition to their performance in Berlin, Radwimps will be seen in London, Paris and Barcelona. The last time the group was in Germany was in 2015.
