The news that ticket holders have been waiting for: Thom Yorke appears to be well again.
The concern and frustration were great: the first two concerts of
Radiohead in Copenhagen could not be played as planned. The Brits were actually supposed to perform there at the Royal Arena on Monday, December 1st and Tuesday, December 2nd – but due to Thom Yorke’s illness, the gigs had to be postponed.
Specifically, the band’s statement via Instagram said: “Radiohead deeply regrets that they have to announce the postponement of the first two concerts in Copenhagen this week – tonight, December 1st, and tomorrow, December 2nd. The concerts have been postponed to December 15th and 16th, respectively. Tickets for the concerts will automatically be transferred to the new date. If you would like a refund, please contact your point of sale.”
The band continued: “We are very sad to have to postpone these two concerts at such short notice, but Thom has been diagnosed with a severe sore throat which is making it impossible for him to sing. Treatment is already underway and we hope that Thom will recover in time to play the last two concerts in Copenhagen on December 4th and 5th and all four concerts in Berlin starting December 8th. We are overwhelmed by the audience reaction at these concerts and love being back on stage It goes without saying that we feel terrible about being forced to postpone these concerts.”
Copenhagen is clear
Fans wondered whether Yorke would be able to recover so quickly from a severe sore throat. But apparently the worry was in vain, because the two further Copenhagen shows will take place as planned on Thursday, December 4th and Friday, December 5th.

What the report means for the Berlin concerts
This means that nothing should stand in the way of the four planned performances in the capital. These are timed as follows:

What to expect at the Radiohead gigs in the capital
All performances will be at Uber Arena. Admission opens at 6 p.m. and it should start promptly at 8:30 p.m. – without any support. The setlist has varied at each concert so far, but in total the band performed for over two and a half hours. However, all tickets for the concerts in this country have long been sold out.
