Radio host allegedly killed in Kansas City shooting – This is what is known about the case now

Kansas City radio station KKFI 90.1 writes on Facebook, that the presenter of KKFI died in the event. The police have not confirmed the matter.

The police have arrested three armed persons and confiscated the weapons. The authorities do not believe that it was an act of terrorism.

NBC reports that most of the fans who attended the championship parade were able to enter the venue without having their bags searched.

No metal detectors were visible at the event, and it is not clear what kind of security checks had to go through in order to get to the shooting site.

US President Joe Biden has demanded in its announcement tightening of the country’s gun laws.

Mayor of Kansas City Quinton Lucas is on the same lines.

– This is what happens with weapons, Lucas said at the press conference.

According to police, the incident happened on the west side of Union Station near the parking garage. People flocked to Union Station to welcome the newly crowned Super Bowl winning team. Many were already leaving the party venue towards the parking garage when the shots rang out.
