With that piece of paper in his pocket, he can, for example, ride the 24 hours of the Nürburgring in the future.
It is the regulations that ensure that a Formula 1 champion such as Verstappen has to go through these steps. He is also not allowed to drive a GT3 car next weekend, but has to do it in a slower Porsche Cayman GT4 CS. This week, Verstappen will first run on Tuesday in a Formula 1 car from Red Bull, during a tire test for Pirelli in Monza.
