Rachel Hazes is simply engaged in psychological warfare when it comes to her son André Hazes Jr. Nothing more and nothing less. At least, that is what Privé editor-in-chief Evert Santegoeds says.
André Hazes Jr. received a message on Christmas Eve that Rachel Hazes is actually going to take him to court over the junior issue. Of course it was a very sad moment to send such an announcement of a summons, because André was going to celebrate Christmas with his sister Roxeanne Hazes a few hours later.
Fifteen minutes before Christmas
Story boss Guido den Aantrekker, more or less Rachel’s PR man, shouted in Shownieuws that it was probably just PostNL and that the announcement might simply have been delayed.
Well, no, André has now said in a TV interview with Privé boss Evert Santegoeds. It was an email and it was sent one second before it was received. “His lawyer received that email on Christmas Eve at 4:15 p.m., fifteen minutes before the office started celebrating Christmas.”
‘Brace Yourself’
The law firm sent that email directly to André. “Yes, he then forwarded that to André: ‘Well, it’s going to happen, brace yourself.’ That was indeed just an action to ruin the family’s Christmas.”
“That didn’t work out, by the way, because, says Dré: ‘We never talk about it at home, that’s what we agreed on. The name Rachel is also almost never mentioned.’”
Warfare
Rachel is just like that, Evert thinks. “André also told me in confidence when we walked over those stairs of the Concertgebouw: ‘That whole junior issue is the least I experience with her’, so maybe that story will come again. But that was the end of the matter.”
According to him, it says a lot about Rachel’s character. “I can’t see it otherwise — if you’re going to send that out at that time and it’s nothing more than an announcement of a subpoena — as psychological warfare to ruin that Christmas.”
Summons
When does Evert think André will receive the actual summons and the trial will start? “The summons will come immediately after Holland Zingt Hazes.”
André will simply make an appearance during that event, despite his doubts. The singer no longer wants to earn money for Rachel.
