André Hazes Jr. knows better than anyone what kind of person Rachel Hazes is. How is it possible that she goes so incredibly off the rails every time, even against her own children? “She’s just cold.”
Evert Santegoeds has caused quite a bit of news and commotion with the exclusive one-on-one interview he had in Shownieuws with André Hazes Jr. For the first time he revealed more about the current crisis with his mother Rachel, from whom he can no longer be called ‘André Hazes’. For example, he had doubts about his participation in Holland Zingt Hazes.
Why is she like this?
It doesn’t feel good for André to still earn money for Rachel; after all, she is the co-producer of the entire festival. Yet he does not want to abandon the other parties involved, but he will probably not attend next year.
Anyway: how is it possible that Rachel is the way she is? Really no one, except Guido den Aantrekker, understands how you can treat your own children this way. Of course, André knows better than anyone what his mother is like. How exactly would he describe her?
Nicest person
André gives in Show news that Rachel, when all goes well, is a very nice person. “I think Rachel is one of the nicest people on earth and someone you can laugh with very much and someone who is very nice to be around and someone who would really like to have you on your birthday, until things go wrong and you have a discussion with gets together.”

Don’t call anyone
Although Rachel is still alive, André already feels as if he is an orphan. “Also at the birth of my son. Monique called her whole family and I was staring at my phone and I thought: I can’t call anyone. My sister now, but no one at the time. I do feel like an orphan sometimes, yes.”
What about the summons Rachel sent him on Christmas Eve? “Not much has changed yet. The last thing I know is that it was Christmas Eve, it was 4:15 PM and then I received an email saying that we are really going to be summoned. I don’t know how that works now. Nothing has really arrived yet.”

André has not yet received a real summons. “We have only been warned that it will happen, so to speak. I don’t know when. Is it before Holland Zingt Hazes or after? I really have no idea.”
